Depart from the pier in Tadoussac or Baie-Sainte-Catherine and head out on an observation boat on a tour of the marine ecosystem in Quebec’s Saguenay-St-Lawrence Marine Park. Embark on a whale-watching trip, and observe geological formations like the Saguenay Fjord.
As you sail along the waters of this marine reserve aboard the Grand Fleuve, keep your eyes peeled for whales. The area is best known for its colony of belugas, but you can also sometimes spot blue whales, minke whales, and fin whales.
Continue your adventure with a visit to the magnificent Saguenay Fjord. This inlet is 65 miles long and sometimes as wide as 2.5 miles. The fjord is also in Saguenay Fjord National Park, sometimes overlapping with Saguenay-St-Lawrence Marine Park.
You will be amazed by the wonder of marine life and geological formations as you cruise the waters on this relaxing and informative tour. Finally, sail back to the departure point where your tour ends.
