Your tour begins with a bus pick-up from your hotel. Watch as the bustling city streets melt away as you near the Bay of Naples. Here, look for majestic vistas of Mount Vesuvius, the Mediterranean Sea, and the city center of Naples as the bus ascends 1,000 meters up the steep mountainside.
Upon arrival, exit the bus and hike to the lip of the crater. Listen as your volcanological and alpine guide explain the unique geology of the volcano as well as the overall formation of the nearby mountains. Take a photo with family or friends and then board the bus to return to Naples.
