Start your tour with pickup in a coach or SUV from your Yellowknife hotel. Take a short 15-minute drive to the cozy cabin nestled amongst the bush. Begin the evening with a meet and greet and listen to Northern stories and history from your local guide.
Next, enjoy a light midnight meal of traditional fish chowder and bannock fresh from the oven. Keep an eye out for the appearance of the Northern Lights, which usually occur around midnight. While waiting, get some photos trying on Inuit and Northern winter clothing.
The base offers the perfect vantage point for the Northern Lights, one of nature’s most elusive and breathtaking phenomena.
